カーリング

先のトリノオリンピックの影響でスウェーデンやフィンランドでもカーリング人気が高まっています。日本の「チーム青森」のようにスウェーデンやフィンランドの代表チームも、一躍注目を浴びる存在になっています。北極圏の凍った湖はそのままカーリングにぴったりのリンクになりそうですが、いかんせん広大な湖が多いので一度投げたら延々とどこでも行ってしまいそうです。
Curling is getting popular in Sweden and Finland, too. A frozen lake within the Arctic circle may seem to be a good curling rink, but please guess what it will happen if a curling stone does not stop but keep on sliding on the vast lake. Maybe it is not a good idea.
